Sounds of Sand is a Charleston based traveling Steel Drum Band. We have created a contemporary sound with a collaboration of caribbean and American instruments. Playing many styles of music including pop, reggae, calypso, soca, r&b, country, folk, funk, jazz, rock, latin, and EDM; Sounds of Sand will provide excellent music and entertain your guests
We encompass the Steel Drums (Steel Pan) in our music. Commonly know to be heard in the islands we create and perform arrangements of music that fuze this rare Caribbean instrument with contemporary instruments and sounds
Making sure that you have a fun and professional experience is our number one priority. We pride ourselves for being on time and making your event special
We are always growing as a band. As a group of dedicated full time musicians we are constantly learning new songs and improving on our classic hits. Having music that everyone will enjoy is the key to a successful band and an incredible show

A musical genius and virtuoso Seitu serenades his audience with smooth vocals and incredible melodies. Performing since the age of 3 Seitu has performed hundreds of events and continues to showcase his skills

The mastermind behind some of Sound of Sand arrangements Amire has studied music which has allowed him to create a new sound in mis playing style
